Frosh homework week of 9/4/14

4 Sep

Welcome to Biotech, froshies! We’re excited you’re here!

Don’t worry, we’ll jump right into the thick of things next week. But first, let’s worry about getting acclimated (that’s a vocab word!).

I will only see you for about 30-40 minutes this week, depending on the day. Therefore, you do not have any homework just yet. However, if you want to get a preview of the course syllabus, which I will hand out in hard copy on Monday and Tuesday, please feel free to read it here.

We will take care of summer reading and all that next week. In the meantime, have a restful weekend and try to absorb all you’ve encountered here this week. I’m sure it’s overwhelming. Don’t worry, it gets easier!

Feel free to poke around the blog to get a sense of what class will be like this year. There is a bunch of stuff if you hover your mouse over the English I button above. Enjoy!

IB Homework week of 9/4/14

4 Sep

Hello, juniors! Welcome to IB English! I’m so excited to have you here!

We will be diving in to our curriculum soon enough. But first, there are some things to take care of. So let’s start off with a nice easy night.

Due Thursday, Sept 4 (A and B classes)

Due Friday, Sept 5 (A and B day classes)

  • Enroll in Google Classroom- use your CTEMC account.
    • Go to classroom.google.com
    • When prompted, say you are a student.
    • Use the code that corresponds with when I have you in class.
      • A day: q938pz1
      • B day: oxdy4ev

Due Mon(A)/Tues(B), Sept 8/9 by 11:59

  • Complete getting to know you document (it will show up via Google Classroom on Friday). Read the instructions carefully; you only have to answer ten questions, not all of them!
